Last week I had the privilege of hanging out over a meal with my mates of 35 + years, Gordon & Helen Brownlee-Barr.  We had such a terrific time reminiscing about life as it was and prayerfully thinking about life as it should be.

After dinner Gordon and I were somehow drawn to the piano in his office / study (which you would think would happen easily but it hasn't for years) and we began to sing through some of the songs that the two of us used as tools 30 years ago to both share the gospel of the kingdom of God in high schools, shopping centres, street corners, on beaches and a variety of other concert venues as well as to exhort the people of God in established church communities to go further in the mission than they had ever gone.

Making Connections for 2012

Poo no longer Taboo as Pollies Queue for a Loo

Well, the months are just flying by and it's a slow and steady push towards a completed new album.

This will be the first album of fresh material from Graeme since 2001 (excluding individual new songs like 'Forever' (2003) and 'Burn' (2004) which are recorded live on the 2007 25th anniversary anthology 'Home- songs from the journey 1982-2006').

It will have 12 to 14 songs and Andrei, Phil, Karen & Graeme have laid 10 of the 14 guide trax.

We've stopped trying to schedule a release date so we can just focus on the next chapter which will be to start building each song in the studio.

The only hold up now is that we are out of funds to draw from and the team is reluctant to lean too hard on the good favour we have always received from the generous Dene Burton of TruSound Music.

So, for now we will rehearse the songs, make production notes and pray for a flow of funds to help us get the project finished.

Thanks everyone for your continued interest.  Please pray with us and we'll keep updating you as the season unfolds.

Stay tuned!
